Peer Review Process
IJMEAR operates a double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant subject area and their freedom from conflicts of interest with the authors.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Evaluate the scientific rigour, methodology, and presentation of the manuscript
- Provide a thorough, constructive, and timely review
- Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting a review invitation
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the manuscript and its contents
- Avoid using unpublished data or ideas from the manuscript without author consent
Review Timeline
Reviewers are asked to complete their review within 21 days of accepting the invitation. If you require additional time or need to decline, please notify the editorial office as soon as possible so that an alternative reviewer can be appointed promptly.
Review Criteria
Reviews should address: originality and significance of the work, soundness of methodology, accuracy of data interpretation, clarity of writing, appropriateness of the abstract and conclusions, and adequacy of references. Constructive feedback that helps the authors improve their work is always valued.
